Mandy Scott Flowers, one of our fabulous member florists, was featured in the Real Weddings section of the Winter 2008 edition of The Bride and Bloom. They created a fantastic event using pink, pewter, fuchsia and green as the theme colors. This classic chic wedding was held at Clos LaChance Winery in San Martin, CA. Beautiful glass pedestal bowls were filled with blush peonies, fuchsia spray roses, hydrangea, deep pink ranunculus, green viburnum, and finished with bear grass inside the bowl for a modern, yet soft look.
There were pomanders of hot pink roses hanging from the doorknobs and throughout the venue and delicious mini-pears were used as place card holders… how cute!

The bridal bouquet is a fluffy mix of pink and white peonies and the groom’s boutonniere is a simple cluster of begonia blooms and ivy, wrapped with black satin ribbon. Lovely. Just lovely. www.mandyscottflowers.com

Our fabulous member L’Olivier Floral Atelier in downtown New York, was featured in an issue of the exclusive Departures Magazine. Owner Olivier Giugni suggests a creative and simple alternative to orchid plants for that special thank you gift — The Cycas plant, otherwise known as a Sago palm.
L’Olivier has given it a chic and modern look by presenting it in a clear cube vase with natural black river stones. Care of the plant is straightforward — all it needs is an indoor space, direct sunlight, and occasional watering. Guigni sums it up, “It looks good, it’s easy to care for- what more could you ask for?” Yet another creative idea from L’Olivier! www.lolivier.com

Moulie Decorateur in Paris, France featured in Vogue
Magazine, August 2008.
This romantic Parisian design comes from our top shop in
Paris France, Moulie Decorateur. www.mouliefleurs.com
This pave design is classically French; in fact, much of what
we see here in the US is a direct result of what shops like
Moulie have been doing for years.
Luscious compact designs…tres magnifique.

One of the most distinguished florists in Manhattan is Belle Fleur. They are widely featured in most bridal publications, as well as many other acclaimed lifestyle magazines. As with many magazines, issues herald trends for the upcoming season.
For this elegant event that was recently published in the Summer 2008 Elegant Bride Magazine, Belle Fleur created luxurious bouquets and arrangements that focused on the rich shades of the fall season. Crimson roses and peonies, burgundy miniature calla lilies and antique hydrangea all compliment each other and cast a warm feeling that says, “autumn has arrived and love is in the air.” www.bellefleurny.com
