Gary Weiss, of Ixia in San Francisco can recall when Peruvian Lilies (alstromeria) and Mini Carnations were hot commodities in the floral industry. Times and tastes have changed through the years. And, Ixia has been an innovator throughout every phase, for over 30 years! Happy Anniversary Ixia!

Long known and sought after for their textural designs of unique and interesting elements, Ixia frequently creates arrangements entirely devoid of florals. As Gary says, “I think we have more sticks and wood in the shop than the entire flower market. You can never have too many sticks and stones!”
