Katrina Parris’ work is featured in the Winter 2007 issue of New York Weddings. Their gorgeous and elegant all white bridal bouquet on the front cover uses roses and dendrobium orchids. The bridal bouquet on the inside cover uses several different varieties of roses in shades of white, including Sweetheart and California varieties . They were also asked to design an unusual fantasy winter wedding centerpiece; this one incorporates white Hawaiian dendrobium orchids with Schwartzwalder black calla-lily accent in a glass vase. It is the arrangement in the back of the bottom right photo.
Katrina Parris was also featured in the New York Weddings Fall 2005 issue. This article described various personalities of engaged couples and offered ideas of appropriate gifts according to their personal tastes. Katrina Parris recommended a stunning, dramatic arrangement for the Bon Vivants, aka the cultured and refined couple. In this arrangement, Katrina Parris enveloped King Protea & tall berried Viburnum foliages with fanciful tropical elephant-ear leaves.
