“These peacocks were a labor of love. We are so happy they were received with such gratitude from our bride! This bride wanted a floral peacock with an ombré design from blush pink to deep purple.”~ Jen at BBrooks member florist Green Bouquet Floral Design, CA.

BBrooks member florist Victoria Whitelaw, AUS, gives a peek into her early morning routine at the local wholesale flower market.
Take a look at the life of a florist behind the scenes…
Victoria rises super early three times a week to arrive at the
wholesale flower market by 4am.
There she hand selects all of the beautiful blooms sold in her store and for
special orders, weddings and events.
Thank you Laura Manariti Photographs for following Victoria and Leah around market and providing these wonderful pictures.

Lisa and Ron Pritchett opened Lilium Floral Design in 2008 fulfilling a decades-long dream. Revenue has increased between 20 percent and 30 percent each year and last year the business registered a 35 percent increase in volume over the previous year. The full-service shop tests every new flower variety or batch from a new supplier to ensure that the longevity will satisfy the customers. If stems don’t last in the test vases in the shop, then Lisa will repurchase.
This record of success, stunning floral design, and commitment to sales and customer service led to Lilum Floral Designs designation as 2015 Retail Florist of the Year in annual contest co-sponsored by Florists’ Review and the Wholesale Florist & Florist Supplier Association.
